Advocacy is about more than just having a seat at the table. It's about creating opportunities and facilitating meaningful discussions with change-makers. At LMK, we are revered for orchestrating advocacy events throughout Ohio and across the country. From creating concepts and messaging to arranging keynote speakers, assembling panels and arranging appointments with politicians, LMK is with you every step of the way, ensuring your voice is heard and your objectives are achieved.
Statehouse Advocacy Days
Every March, as a prelude to Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, LMK works with self-advocates, the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council, and internal/external stakeholders to present the Advocacy Awareness Day at the Ohio Statehouse This important event welcomes 500 attendees and is also live-streamed. Attendees also have the opportunity to participate in scheduled meetings with legislators to advocate and discuss important issues. LMK Advocacy is there every step of the way--from logistics, to theme development, to legislative meeting coordination.

Advocacy Events
Working with our Ohio partners at the DD Council, self-advocates, and elected officials, LMK was proud to coordinate the 2023 Advancing the Agenda Fly-In in Washington D.C. LMK coordinates everything needed for a successful federal advocacy event: speakers, meeting and hotel logistics, travel coordination, event themes, advocacy training, talking point development and Congressional meetings.
